What more do people need to see?

Two big ships and a smaller boat travel the Strait of Hormuz. USA 15 June 2026:U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that the agreement between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran had been finalized, congratulating all parties involved. He also authorized the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz for free navigation and ordered the immediate lifting of the USA naval blockade, allowing for the full resumption of global oil shipments.

Remember all that tough talk?

In the announcement issued immediately after Trump launched the war in Iran, he declared, “We’re going to destroy their missiles and raise their missile industry to the ground. It will be totally, again, obliterated.”

It was the first of five objectives.

Trump says that Iran “has to have” ballistic missiles, adding “what am I going to do? Am I going to let Saudi Arabia have missiles but they can’t have them?”

“I’m the boss,” Trump tells the G-7 leaders, who mock him behind his back, watch him wander in a stupor, witness him accelerate America’s decline and plot their future without the once-reliable ally.

Maybe the Albanian people are on the verge of tossing out their government and boosting democracy.

Maybe they have Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump to thank for waking them up?

Hahaha. Wouldn’t that be sweet?

“Inadvertently.”

Q: At this point, do you feel that Vladimir Putin is more responsible for the ongoing conflict in Ukraine?

TRUMP: I don’t want to comment on that

The agreement reportedly includes $300 billion in private investments in Iran’s economy.

Trump made headlines last month for saying “I love the inflation” when asked about rising costs amid the Iran War.

The difference between this and the deal Trump tore up is that Iran now gets more money, fewer restrictions, less oversight, and more regional autonomy.

MS NOW cut away from Trump’s “rambling and incoherent” G7 speech to deliver a much needed, and appreciated, fact check.

This is how it’s done 🔥

That’s how it should have been done since June 2015.

When Republican Senators start saying “the worst foreign policy blunder in decades”… 😆

Signing your surrender at Versailles is *not good,* dude.

Building Versailles bankrupted France and helped bring down the French Monarchy

Than there was the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror where Queen Marie Antoinette and her husband King Louis XVI were both publicly executed by guillotine in 1793 followed by many French Aristocrats

I’m not a professional historian, but if I were a world leader looking to sign a peace deal, I’m pretty sure I’d pick literally anywhere in the world *except* Versailles.

Okay, that’s funny.

This is not a Trump victory. It’s a surrender.

Imagine if Obama had made this deal.

— Christopher Webb (@cwebbonline.com) June 17, 2026 at 7:48 PM

Wow, Iran won. We expected it, but seeing the agreement, it’s still shocking. Sanctions lifted? Blockade lifted? $300 billion in reparations? Status quo regarding Iran’s nuclear program, i.e. the same promises? After 60 days, possible admission fees at the Strait of Hormuz? C’mon, impeach him.

— Eric Nalder (@ericnalder.bsky.social) June 17, 2026 at 4:28 PM

As I’ve been saying, impeachment and removal will ultimately have to happen, and enough Republicans will ultimately be forced to support it.

But if Democrats fear talking about it now, they will make the path more difficult, delay the ultimate outcome, and prolong the damage.

COLLINS: In 2021, you said relieving sanctions on Iran ‘would only contribute to more terror attacks against America and its allies.’ This deal includes lifting sanctions on Iran. Will America be safer?

SEN. ROGER MARSHALL: It’s a completely different day. You can’t have everything you want.

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) June 17, 2026 at 6:48 PM

Different day, different story. Always.

March 9: “We’re now totally independent of the Middle East. We don’t need their oil.”

April 1: “It doesn’t really affect us. We have so much oil, much more than we need.”

June 17: If I didn’t agree to the MOU, we “would run out of reserves at about 4 weeks…”

Threats to use nuclear weapons are now routine, just another Tuesday. When did American politicians lose all sense of humanity?

— Social Media Lab (@socialmedialab.ca) June 17, 2026 at 6:47 PM

KAITLAN COLLINS: Are you okay with Iran having missiles?

SEN. ROGER MARSHALL: I prefer that they not, but they have to defend themselves

COLLINS: You think Iran needs to be able to defend itself?

MARSHALL: I do, otherwise we turn this into a forever war

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) June 17, 2026 at 6:41 PM

Every day is a new scandal or a new low and there are a lot of Americans who for some reason don’t have the cognitive functions to see what’s right in front of their faces.

I don’t have any advice for anyone. The time to keep this from happening was 10 years ago.

Take care.
