Suppose a hockey team scored seven goals in a game on the first day of this month and did it again on the 13th.
Oh no, we’re counting again!
If you’re constructing such a sentence, you have to count the first day. And the last day. And every day between them.
So the team did it twice in 13 days, not 12 days.
It’s one day from Saturday to Sunday, but if they did the feat on back-to-back days, it wouldn’t be twice in one day. It would be twice in two days. There are several ways to say it, but it’s good to be right about the math.
I’ve corrected this type of error a lot.
That’s it for today. Short and sweet.
Sending love. Protect your peace.
